The scan and the audit
Both tools take a business name and a city or ZIP. There is no account, no email field and no sign-in. We send those two values to our ranking data provider so it can look up the public Google Maps listing, and we send one request to the website that listing points at, in the same way a visitor's browser would.
We keep the result in a short-lived cache so that running the same lookup twice does not cost twice. The cache holds the business name, the location and the returned figures. It holds nothing about you.
Our server logs record the IP address a request came from, because that is how the rate limit stops one visitor from spending our data budget. Those logs are kept for no longer than 30 days.
The booking form
If you ask for the 25 minute call we collect your name, your business name, your email address, and optionally a phone number and a preferred time. We use them to run your numbers before the call and to contact you about that call.
We do not add you to a mailing list from this form, we do not sell or rent your details, and we do not share them with anyone outside the processors listed below.
Who else sees it
Three kinds of company touch this data and none of them use it for their own purposes.
Our hosting provider runs the site and the functions behind it. Our ranking data provider receives the business name and location you type into the scan or the audit, and nothing else. Our email provider carries the messages we send you about your call.
If you become a client, the campaign work involves your own customer list. That is covered by the agreement you sign, not by this page, and it is handled under a written data processing arrangement.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. There is nothing to consent to, which is why you were not asked.
Your rights
Write to privacy@brandedreputation.com and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We answer within 30 days and we do not charge for it.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are used in US state privacy law. There is accordingly nothing for you to opt out of, but you may still ask us to delete what we hold at any time.
This site is aimed at business owners and is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this page changes we update the date at the top. If a change is material and we hold your email address, we tell you before it takes effect.
